The Los Angeles Lakers avoided a massive scare in what people thought would be an easy win over the Utah Jazz with LeBron James leading an OT masterclass.

LeBron’s teammates have been making goat noises in the locker room after every game when LBJ is giving his interviews, and everyone did the same tonight after LeBron’s clutch game-winning performance to beat Utah.

The team has been doing this for the last few games but today was easily the loudest reaction by the team. LeBron usually continues giving his interviews without acknowledging the goat noises but today they were too loud for everyone to ignore. James told the journalists to not lose focus as he was still locked in.

The Lakers Looking To Avoid The Play-In

With their win tonight, the Lakers are now tied for the 6th seed with the Los Angeles Clippers. The Golden State Warriors are half a game ahead of both teams in the 5th seed, so the Lakers still have a lot to play for. They face the Clippers tomorrow night in a game that will play a huge role in deciding which team goes to the play-in tournament and which team goes to the playoffs.

Ty Lue has never lost to the Lakers as Clippers head coach but even he knows that the challenge in front of them is quite significant. The Clippers can take a deep breath given the Lakers played an OT game on the first night of a back-to-back before facing the Clippers, who have had two days off.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and D’Angelo Russell may not end up playing tomorrow in what would be a huge misstep for the Lakers. Hopefully, the most anticipated matchup of the final week of games lives up to the hype with all healthy players being on the court.
