The Chicago Bulls pulled off an unlikely win over the Memphis Grizzlies the other night to keep their play-in push alive.

The matchup meant Patrick Beverley and Dillon Brooks had to share the court once again and Beverley was excited to talk trash to Brooks after the win. He narrated his conversation with Brooks after the Bulls win.

Patrick Beverley: “Y’all thought you had that one. Y’all mark that one on the board.”

Dillon Brooks: “Ahh yeah.”

Patrick Beverley: “Yeah take that b***h off the board.”

Beverley had just 2 points on 5 shots in this game but played some impactful defense in stretches, helping lock Ja Morant up. Brooks had a solid 14-point game but was inefficient from the field and his lack of scoring punch ended up sinking the Grizz in this game.

Bulls’ head coach Billy Donovan praised Morant heavily after the game.

The Chicago Bulls Secure A Play-In Spot

After the Orlando Magic lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Bulls officially locked up a spot in the play-in tournament. They had a tough loss to the Hawks tonight, as a win would mean the teams are tied for the 9th seed with room for the Bulls to possibly jump higher. They’re currently behind the Toronto Raptors in the 9th seed after their loss.

The team will likely make their way up from the 9-10 play-in matchup and hope to chain consecutive wins to make it in. Patrick Beverley had a big impact on the Minnesota Timberwolves making it out of the play-in last season and will hope to replicate it with his hometown team this season.
