LeBron James is in the twilight of his career, even though he still has big ambitions to fulfill on the court. His longevity has become his calling card in debates about his legacy, but sometimes it’s easy to forget just how long the King has been around. Those are the times when the fact that both his sons could be in the NBA soon comes up.

LeBron James‘ sons Bronny and Bryce are both in high school and looking to build their resumes as they strive to make it to the NBA. The proposed changes in draft eligibility could even see them become professionals sooner than expected, which improves LeBron’s chances of being able to play with both of his sons. James himself has an eye on the situation, but for now, he seems to be enjoying their high school exploits and achievements.

LeBron James Made A Lovely Post About Bronny And Bryce Facing Off Against Kiyan Anthony

Another legendary player from the same draft as LeBron James is none other than Carmelo Anthony. James and Anthony had something of a rivalry in high school, and the two even faced off against one another. Now, James’ sons play for Sierra Canyon while Carmelo’s son Kiyan Anthony plays for Christ The King High School. The two teams are set to clash soon, and it’s safe to say that James is emotional about it all.

The Legacies Continue To Live On tonight! Wow this is surreal and quite frankly insane!! 21 years later from when I played vs my brother @carmeloanthony(St-V/Oak Hill) and now this evening our boys are playing against one another! Life is Good/Beautiful!”

It is sobering for fans of the NBA during the 2000s to think that the legends they grew up with now have sons in high school that will compete against one another. James has been able to achieve a lot more than Anthony, but both are among the greatest players of their generations. They have enjoyed many great battles throughout their careers. And now it seems their sons are here to continue what first began between their fathers.
