LeBron James Shuts Down Concerns About His Injury: “That’s The Most Minutes I’ve Played In A Long Time And I Didn’t Feel Anything On That Play.”

LeBron James is ready to face the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2020 NBA playoffs after the Lakers secured the 7th seed in the Western Conference.

After beating the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament, LeBron and co. are now headed to Phoenix to meet the surprising 2nd seed in the west, led by James’ long-time friend Chris Paul and Devin Booker.

Many questions have surrounded James and his health in recent days, but the King made sure to shut them down after recording a triple-double vs. the Warriors two nights ago.

“I’m good. I told you guys I was good. I’m good,” said the 36-year-old, via Harrison Faigen of Silver Screen & Roll. “That’s the most minutes I’ve played in a long time and I didn’t feel anything on that play. Draymond’s finger or thumb or whatever went directly into my eye, and that’s why I was down. Just making sure I was okay, making sure I wasn’t bleeding and making sure I could see a little bit at least so I could finish the game.”

This is excellent news for the Lakers. They will need anybody healthy and ready to go if they aspire to make a deep playoffs run. LeBron is ready to lead his team to the promised land, just like he did last year but the job won’t be easy.

They will have to win away series to make it to the Finals and win the championship. Some say this run can give the King a big case for the GOAT status, and seeing all the things he’s gone through this season, that could be true.
