The NBA has fined the Dallas Mavericks once again for breaching ‘bench decorum’ rules, marking another time that the league has made these decisions regarding the Texans team.

Not everybody is happy with this situation and some within the franchise have already raised their voice against this situation. The Mavericks have been fined up to $175,000 during the 2022 NBA playoffs after receiving another big $100K fine for being too enthusiastic during the first two games of the Western Conference Finals:

The totality of the fines is now up to $175,000 during just these playoffs, but so far, it doesn’t seem to have changed the way the Mavericks players behave on the sidelines. There was a moment in Game 2 when Theo Pinson, who was standing in white on the sidelines, seemingly confused Steph Curry, who passed the ball in his direction mistaking him for a teammate.

Mark Cuban has been making headlines recently for his statements on social media and this time, he sent a message to the NBA, using a Draymond Green video to ironically say that his team’s bench is ‘out of control’:

Footage shows Draymond Green storming after getting a foul call, and the refs didn’t give him a second technical foul. Cuban kept the receipts and showed them, calling out the league for their decision.

After going at it with Lil Wayne and squashing his beef with the rapper, now Cuban is firing at the NBA, and maybe his tweet would be the reason why the league slaps the Mavericks with another fine.

The Mavericks are 0-2 down against the Golden State Warriors, ready to bounce back and prove that they aren’t done yet. The series is now back in Texas, and the Mavs will try to go back to the Bay with a tied series, or else they’ll be ready to wrap up their season.
