Montrezl Harrell Accuses Fans Of Insulting His Late Grandmother After Lakers First-Round Exit

Montrezl Harrell learned about basketball fans’ worst side after his Los Angeles Lakers were eliminated by the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night. The Californians succumbed to Devin Booker, Chris Paul, and co., ending their dream of winning back-to-back titles.

Harrell didn’t see a lot of action during the series. Still, some fans decided to put the blame on him after the Lakers’ elimination. As you may know, the big man lost his grandmother last season, something that really hurt him.

His grandma was a big source of inspiration for Harrell, and fans started insulting her following the Lakers’ early exit of the playoffs.

Montrezl Harrell said he is still struggling with the loss of his grandmother, which trolls used after Game 6: “There’s dummies out there, heartless people who get on social media … people had the nerve to say ‘F my grandmother.’ I wish they were there to say it to my face”

It’s hard to understand why people think this is actually fine. Disrespecting other people’s loved ones, especially those who aren’t around anymore, it’s just outrageous.

The worst part is that none of them would dare to say one thing to Trezz if they had him right in front. This season was full of ups and downs for the player who signed with the Lakers in the offseason.

They hope to bounce back next year with a healthy roster and players ready to level up when the team needs them. It’s time to relax, think about the season, and forget about the people that only try to bring others down.
