  • Jayce Griffin, the 2-year-old grandson of Milwaukee Bucks’ Head Coach Adrian Griffin, tragically passed away recently.
  • Jayce’s mother, Jasmine Riggs, has accused his father Alan Griffin, and his family of neglecting the child.
  • Riggs wrote strong comments on Instagram suggesting that their neglecting his health issues is what led to the tragic occurrence.

A lot of the NBA world is very glamorous and fun, with people enjoying the spectacle of basketball and the various narratives that come with it. But sometimes, the athletes and coaches involved have to deal with some harrowing circumstances.

Adrian Griffin, the newly appointed Milwaukee Bucks‘ Head Coach, tragically lost his 2-year-old grandson recently. Respiratory issues and fluid in his lungs are being reported as the causes of his tragic passing.

Jayce’s mother, Jasmine Riggs, has a different view of the tragedy, though. Commenting on social media about what she believes occurred, she has alleged that Alan Griffin and his family’s neglect caused the horrible situation to happen.

“Alan ignored the SIGNS and didn’t inform me my baby was having any symptoms,” Riggs wrote on Instagram. “My baby was FINE at daycare Thursday. I have statements from the director and teachers. They LET my baby die.

“The autopsy takes 60-90 days to FULLY complete! Stop saying bits and pieces of his report. And that is MY BABY! I took care of him every day.”

This is an incredibly serious accusation, and the situation is extremely saddening and needs to be approached with real caution. The facts will make themselves clear as time goes on, but for now, we must pray for all the parties suffering because of this horrific loss.

Jasmine Riggs Laid Out A Timeline Surrounding Her Son’s Passing

Alleging neglect of this level is serious, but it seems Jasmine Riggs thinks she knows exactly what happened. And in another comment, she gave a timeline for how things supposedly unfolded.

“That was Alan’s FIRST time alone with Jayce until they got there at 2 something am Saturday. They didn’t even check on him when they got there. They said Alan was in the kitchen and they just assumed Jayce was sleep in the basement.

“They NEGLECTED MY SON. Alan told someone at the hospital Jayce was coughing at 1 am and he didn’t tell me! Then LEFT my baby in the basement and was FOUND the next morning unresponsive. Fxck outta here. They neglected my baby and that is why he died.”

The situation seems both complicated and messy, and it would not be right to speculate on what happened without the facts. This is a truly difficult time for the family and hopefully, everything comes to light and the healing process can begin for everyone involved.
