NBA Fans React After Kelly Oubre Got A Technical Foul For Blowing A Kiss For Montrezl Harrell

2 Min Read

Kelly Oubre Jr. starred in a very weird moment in the NBA on Monday night. The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers clashed for the first time this season and it was a complete show. The game has everything, even some eyebrow-raising decision from the referees.

At some point, Kelly Oubre drained a 3-pointer and he blew a kiss to Montrezl Harrell, which didn’t sit well with the referees that called a technical foul on Oubre for that seemingly inoffensive gesture. It was really odd to see that sequence but the refs weren’t having any of that.

NBA Twitter was quick to react and criticize the referees for that call. Some criticized the officials, others joked with Oubre’s likeness, explaining they were jealous of Harrell and the rest claimed that if that wasn’t LeBron James, nothing would have happened.

In the end, the Warriors won the game after returning from a 19-point deficit. They have beaten the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers after recovering from big disadvantages, showing that they can compete against anybody this season. Oubre finished the game with 23 points and 4 rebounds and one tech in 37 minutes.
