NBA Fans Think Patrick Beverley Took A Shot At LeBron James With Recent Tweet

2 Min Read

Patrick Beverley is driving the NBA Twitter community crazy with one recent tweet where he talked about LeBron James and his desire to play. The NBA announced the plan to resume the 2019/20 season next month in Orlando, with Bron showing his support to the 22-team tournament that will take place at Walt Disney World.

After several players expressed their doubts about resuming play in recent hours, Beverley took to Twitter to send a message to the fans, LeBron and even the NBA.

“Hoopers say what y’all want. If @KingJames said he hooping. We all hooping. Not Personal only BUSINESS #StayWoke,” he wrote.

This message looks very clear, but not everybody is convinced things aren’t that easy and simple. While Dave McMenamin of ESPN believes Bev is actually agreeing and defending Bron, plenty of fans are sure Beverley was just taking shots at the King, as usual.

Knowing Bev’s relationship with Bron and all their back and forths on and off the court, this wouldn’t be a surprise. Perhaps this is Beverley saying the NBA does whatever LeBron tells them to do and even if a big part of the players don’t go to Orlando in July, they continue with their plans of resuming the season.
