LeBron James might be one of the greatest NBA players to ever step onto a court but he’s also a calculated businessman that holds immense pride in how people perceive him. Having the prime of his career in the social media age means that LeBron is seen very often on Twitter and Instagram posts about stuff.
Over the years, many people have realized that LeBron has a tendency of lying about insignificant stuff. This emerged after LeBron claimed to have heard the Migos in 2010, a year before the trio released their first mixtape. Outside of that, LeBron has also lied about knowing Kobe Bryant would score 70+ points in his iconic 82-point game, among other things.
These revelations quickly led to viral memes flooding Twitter with a picture of young LeBron from the interview where he claimed to have predicted Kobe’s 82-point night, something LBJ was asked about and responded to.

“I always speak the truth baby, I always speak the truth.”
James is clearly having fun with NBA fans and further adding to the meme by saying he never lies. He’s been caught out many times before, be it while being interviewed by English football players or by journalists asking him about the books he’s been reading.
LeBron James And The 2022-23 Season
Nobody should care much about the pop culture things LeBron chooses to lie about when you compare it to what he does on the basketball court. The sad thing is that he hasn’t been performing really well on the court this season either.
LeBron has had a visibly slow start to the year. He has had some solid performances, but many have left for more to be desired from the 20-year veteran. He was having a nice game against the Los Angeles Clippers before he hurt his groin and had to leave the game. He is averaging 24.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 6.9 assists so far this year.
Father time is knocking on LeBron’s door. It’s a question of whether LBJ is going to let him in this season or keep fighting to extend one of the longest primes we have seen in basketball history.
