The Golden State Warriors are not having a good time whenever they are on the road. They fell to yet another loss away from home after the Milwaukee Bucks dominated them in a 111-128 win.

Golden State had high hopes of repeating as champions this season but they just haven’t looked good enough on the court. While they just had a big win over the Boston Celtics, they couldn’t handle the Bucks and have fallen back to being .500 with a 14-14 record.

Fans are worried about the squad and wondering whether the championship dream might be dead.

The one thing the NBA has taught us in the last decade is to never count the Warriors out. They have too much talent on their squad and an inflated salary bill. They can easily make one trade to add a role-specific player and look unstoppable again.

Will The Warriors Make A Trade?

The Warriors have been heavily linked to take Jakob Poeltl out of the San Antonio Spurs and fit a fundamentally sound and talented center into their system. Poeltl’s defensive ability will be crucial for Golden State in the middle, given Kevon Looney’s inconsistencies and James Wiseman’s inexperience.

The best-case scenario might see the Warriors acquire a player like Myles Turner, who can help the team stretch the floor as well. Turner is one of the best shot-blockers in the NBA and would fit perfectly. However, his contract status and injury history might make Poeltl the safer bet.

The Warriors tried to replace veteran role-players with rookies and sophomores, and it didn’t work. Hopefully, the trade market is where they right that wrong and push towards yet another championship.
