Nikola Jokic has earned his name in the NBA not with his athleticism or technique, but with his unique passing vision, combined with his multidimensional scoring abilities that make him a threat on all three levels. During the second game of the preseason run, Nuggets’ superstar Jokic reminded the league of his unique passing vision by pulling off a move that probably only a hand-picked few others can do in today’s game: a nonchalant no-look, 360° whip from the baseline to the corner.
WHAT A PASS FROM JOKIĆ 🃏

To be fair, he turned 180° twice and not a full circle, but he moved that much in a single motion, which is impressive nonetheless. While Cam Johnson failed to convert that pass into an assist as he missed his shot, the pass went viral on social media as fans could not believe how easy the Serbian superstar made it look. Fans expressed their opinion on the former MVP’s unique abilities.
“What kind of witchcraft is this?”
“Man, Jokic just sees the game in slow motion. That pass looked way too easy for him.”
“Is there anything this guy can’t do?”
“The vision is mad!”
“Absolute wizardry from Jokic, Vancouver is speechless.”
“Genuinely absurd vision.”
The Nuggets let the game get close after leading 64-56 at the half against the Raptors. Jokic finished the game with 17 points, six rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 21 minutes played. Jokic had an incredibly efficient night as he did not miss a single one of his five shots, shooting 100% from the field.
Christian Braun led all scorers for the Nuggets with 19 points, two rebounds, and two assists in that time. For the Raptors, the former Duke players Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett led the charge on the offensive end with 19 points each. The game ended with the 2023 NBA champions edging ahead 112-108 down the stretch against the Raptors.
After losing their first game of the preseason, the Nuggets have finally gotten their first win. Their next game is against the Clippers on Sunday night (October 12), where they will likely also get a healthy Aaron Gordon back in the lineup. The Raptors now move on to face the Kings on Wednesday night (October 8), where they will also look to gain some momentum with a win.
