Right off the bat, the Los Angeles Lakers will have the services of LeBron James and Anthony Davis against the Denver Nuggets, who have been on a rapid surge this season.

The Nuggets are placed third in the West after notching up three consecutive wins, while the Lakers are yet to break into the top 10. Their recent loss to the Boston Celtics in overtime now puts them under a bit of pressure to string up a win against Denver as they look to shrug off the one-win, one-loss rut.

That said, the Lakers will look to amends and get their campaign back on track even as the team continues to garner headlines under the trade section. And ahead of the marquee Friday clash, here’s a look at the Lakers’ injury report against Denver.

Los Angeles Lakers Injury Report Against The Denver Nuggets: LeBron James And Anthony Davis Are Day-To-Day

It’s not surprising to see Lebron James and Anthony Davis on the injury list. The duo has been battling ankle and back issues throughout the season, but luckily for the Lakers, neither of their injuries is serious enough for them to sit out for a prolonged period of time.

While James missed a few games due to his left adductor strain, Davis has been a regular fixture missing an odd couple of contests despite his back issues. He is reported to likely take the floor against the Nuggets, while James will almost definitely play.

Wenyen Gabriel is nearing a return from his shoulder injury. Darvin Ham says he’s day-to-day at this point.

The Lakers will be without the services of Wenyen Gabriel (shoulder) and Juan Toscano-Anderson (ankle).

According to Lakers Nation, the former was reported to be on pace for the clash but had been listed as out in ESPN’s updated injury report. Darvin Ham had said the power forward was day-to-day, and his return will be a massive boost for LA’s frontcourt. For the Nuggets, Michael Porter Jr. (heel) will miss out on the action.
