Andrew Wiggins is having the time of his life after winning his first NBA title, as he should. Wiggins played a starring role for the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 playoffs, as the Dubs completed a remarkable turnaround from missing the playoffs to becoming NBA champions. He was partying hard in Las Vegas in the aftermath and is now chilling on vacation with his longtime girlfriend, Mychal Johnson.

The two have been dating for nearly a decade at this point and she was on the court celebrating when they won the title. Johnson also hailed Wiggins as “the best daddy” in a Father’s Day post on Twitter and she now shared some hot pictures from their vacation.

Mychal surely appreciates spending time with Wiggins, as she stated in the caption that she’s exactly where she’s supposed to be. Her boyfriend deserves to have some good time off to relax too, after his incredible efforts in these playoffs.

Wiggins silenced a lot of his doubters during this postseason run and he was happy to make them “kick rocks”. He now looks set for another big payday as the Warriors will reportedly discuss a huge contract extension with him this summer. Not many would have foreseen this turn of events when Wiggins was traded to Golden State in 2020, but it is a credit to his work ethic as well as his willingness to sacrifice for the cause, that he has got to the point where they value him so much.

On the off chance that the two parties are unable to agree on the terms of an extension, there is a pretty good chance that teams will be queueing up his services next season. All he needs to do to ensure that happens is to build on these performances and establish himself as one of the best two-way players in basketball.

His passion for the sport was ignited after witnessing the high-octane offense of the Steve Nash-led Phoenix Suns. Among the Suns, Shawn Marion stood out to Gautam as an all-time underrated NBA player. Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
