Austin Reaves called LeBron James ‘LePickEm’ after seeing him drop his predictions for the upcoming week in the NFL.

James has been calling NFL results with accuracy in recent weeks, with his first week seeing him go 11-2 in picking 13 matchups. He has made it a part of his social media. With the NBA returning next week, it’ll be interesting to see if James continues this after he is in full-time action with the Lakers again.

LeBron has been a massive NFL fan his entire life, but nothing will ever be more important than balling on the court. James will be looking to lock in after sharing this week’s predictions, as the NBA season will be the only thing he cares about after their opening night matchups against the Denver Nuggets.

LeBron James Is A Cleveland Browns Fan

After masquerading as a fan of the Dallas Cowboys for years, James recently confirmed that he is fully a Cleveland Browns fan nowadays.

“I’m a Browns fan now. It’s my hometown, it’s been disgusting every year, but we have hope every year.”

LeBron stopped supporting the Cowboys after a lot of negative attention came on to the franchise with owner Jerry Jones not letting players kneel during the national anthem and the team owner being linked to anti-Black parades during the Civil Rights Movement.

“Nah man, I had to sit put on the Cowboys man. It just a lot of things that were going on when guys were kneeling, guys were talking about freedom of speech and doing it in a very peaceful manner. A lot of the people in the front office and in the organization were like, ‘If you do that around here, you won’t play for this franchise again.’ I just didn’t think that was appropriate. I still love the players on the team, I love CeeDee Lamb, our boy Zeke, Buckeye, and I still mess with him. I love Micah Parsons, he’s a dog. I had to turn it into him even with all the love I had. I am all in on the Browns.”

It’s hard to defend Jones’ actions since he’s become extremely wealthy off the backs of African-American athletes who make up the majority of the NFL. Every team owner in any league could be canceled for their opinions or actions, but to have actively advocated against civil liberties to be afforded to everyone makes it a hard pill to swallow for James.

LeBron James Almost Played In The NFL

LeBron was a very talented multi-sport athlete when he was in high school. By the time his senior season began, he had given up football to zone in on basketball. Even with that, NFL teams were genuinely interested in signing LeBron during the 2011 lockout.

“That’s true. Jerry Jones offered me a contract, also Pete Carroll did as well in Seattle, during our lockout time. It definitely got my blood flowing again, it got my mind racing again thinking about the game of football, being out there on Sunday. You know, we were able to get a deal done in the NBA, and I was back on the court in no time. But I definitely thought about it. I still got the jersey too, that Jerry and Pete Carroll sent me from 2011.”

As basketball fans, we can be thankful we saw a talent of his caliber on the hardwood instead of on the grass. Given he’s cemented himself as a top-three player of all time in basketball, LeBron must be happy about his decision as well.
