Charles Barkley is one of the most well-loved personalities in the NBA, and his trademark candor and willingness to share his unfiltered thoughts are large parts of it. The Round Mound of Rebound has been a media staple for two decades, and in that time, has seen some of his comments end up getting him in hot water with fanbases of particular franchises.

Barkley’s jokes about the women of San Antonio have almost reached the status of iconic, and the Inside the NBA crew milked those for years. His latest war of words has been with the San Francisco fans, with Barkley antagonizing them and them letting him have it back throughout this series so far.

The latest moment in this ever-evolving but fun beef came on Friday, with the crew in San Francisco to cover Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the Warriors and the Mavericks. As Chuck and the rest of the cast were walking onto the stage, the Warriors fans in the audience started chanting at Barkley, who unashamedly responded by pulling out Sam Cassell’s famous big b*lls dance:

Barkley was never one to back down from any beef in his playing days and it’s completely unsurprising to see him give it back to Warriors fans. And it’s more than likely that nobody is angry with Barkley either. The entire exercise seems to be in great humor. The big b*lls dance was popularized in the NBA by Sam Cassell, and it seems like an appropriate moment for Barkley to break it out now.

The Dallas Mavericks could use some of that themselves. The team crumbled in Game 2 despite having a commanding lead, giving up a big run to the Golden State Warriors who erased a 19-point deficit despite a Luka Doncic masterclass. The Warriors, meanwhile, will continue doing what they do and it looks like they’ll likely prove Barkley wrong again as well.
