  • Dwyane Wade is set to be inducted into the NBA’s Hall of Fame on Saturday

Dwyane Wade and LeBron James linked up to create one of the most coldest and iconic pictures in the history of the NBA when they both shared the floor for the Miami Heat.

And on his part, Wade had a hilarious answer when asked about James’ no-look bounce pass that ended with the forward dunking it in style.

It all unfolded against the Milwaukee Bucks when Wade rushing to the rim passed a no-looker to James who threw the ball down as the guard glided down with his arms outstretched in celebration.

Talking to NBA TV about the photograph, the three-time champion, who is hours away from being inducted into the 2023 Hall of Fame had a brilliant answer.

“You know I’d never seen the dunk, really? I looked away from the dunk… this was a typical fast-break dunk where I just had to figure out how to get him the ball. Whether I throw it in the air or bounce it, or whatever it is, I’ve always figured out a way to give him the ball because I heard him trucking.

“And so I took a quick peek, made sure it was him and not someone else, and I threw it. A bounce pass. The fundamentals of the game led to one of the most iconic moments.”

You can have a look at the iconic image below:

Much of the focus on Wade comes on the back of his HOF induction, and the legendary guard was asked questions about his illustrious career, and this famed image was one of them.

The fact that Wade and James could create the magic was primarily due to the seamless chemistry they shared on and off the court. Couple that with an astute understanding of each other’s games and skills, the picture comes as the end product of their brilliance.

Wade and James won two championships with the Heat in the latter’s four seasons with the franchise. The famed Big 3 of James, Wade, and Chris Bosh were a force and the two titles explain it all.

LeBron James Had A Hyped Message For Dwyane Wade Ahead Of His HOF Induction

Perhaps, LeBron James was one of the happiest players who loved the fact that his teammate was becoming a Hall of Famer.

Earlier, he took to Instagram to share a wholesome message congratulating Wade for his stellar achievements.

James and Wade won back-to-back championships with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013. So it’s understandable that James had some choice praises for his former teammate.

Wade averaged 22.0 points per game, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in the regular season. He bettered it with an impressive playoff record averaging 22.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game. Add this to his CV that sees him as a 13-time All-Star, and NBA Finals MVP, the accolades are fully deserved for the 41-year-old.
