Bronny James played in his highest-profile game as a high-schooler tonight, showing out for the Western Conference in the McDonald’s All-American Game.

Bronny scored 15 points on 5 threes, showcasing his range as a shooter, even hitting a clutch three late in the game. James also played hard defense throughout the night, causing all viewers to leave the game very impressed with his performance.

One fan said, “LeBron created his own 3 and D teammate lmfaooooo.”

A Clippers fan mocked Bronny for losing the game, “And another passed up game-winner and finals loss for the James family in typical fashion.”

Another fan was extremely impressed, “Kid is a bucket for real for real.”

One fan compared him to Jrue Holiday, “Jrue Holiday but with elite athleticism. Future HOF.”

Another fan was impressed with the James’ family success, “Biggest spotlight for any young athlete since his own dad, and both have done nothing but perform and never have anything close to a scandal to their name. Respect LeFamily.”

The idea that Bronny was only getting attention because of his father was also mocked by fans, “They said he’s only there because of Bron lmao.”

Bronny James and Team West ended up losing on the night despite Bronny’s shooting clinic. They actually led for most of the game with Bronny and Isaiah Collier’s contributions.

A second-half comeback for the East came from DJ Wagner, the first third-generation player in the All-American game. Wagner and Collier were named co-MVPs, as the East walked out with a 106-109 win.

Bronny James Is Elevating His Game

Even though he wasn’t a 5-star recruit till earlier this year, Bronny has catapulted his ranking as a player in this year’s high school class this season. He led Sierra Canyon to a solid season, gaining a reputation as a defensive menace on the perimeter. His NBA comparison has been with the likes of Jrue Holiday and Marcus Smart, a testament to his strength as a defender.

He is currently projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. In the meantime, he needs to commit to a college as he was the only player to play tonight who hasn’t committed to a university yet. He was reportedly picking between 3 schools and we are ever closer to his version of ‘The Decision’ taking place.
