With the NBA becoming more and more popular across the world, stars in the league are now maintaining their image like never before. NBA players will often change their looks, whether it be through clothes or through their hairstyles.

Hairstyles are actually a pretty big talking point in the NBA, with several stars continuously changing their looks in order to keep pace with, or even start their own trends.

But there are a lot of NBA players who go for the clean-cut shaved head look. And there are many stars who had to do this because they had no choice. Stars like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, and others came into the league with hair.

But as time went on, they switched to a shaved head because they were balding. What did these stars look like before they went bald?

Instagram page Sway actually made a compilation of some of the NBA’s most iconic stars before they decided to get rid of their hair. This list included Shaq, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Manu Ginobili, Gary Payton, and Jason Kidd

As always, fans decided to weigh in on this in the most hilarious way possible. Perhaps the best comment was comparing Shaquille O’Neal to Darryl from popular sitcom ‘The Office’. But you can check out some of the best comments below.

In the past, we had players like Dennis Rodman, who dyed his hair several different colors and always kept changing it. Rodman was considered very eccentric when he did this during his playing days, but many feel that he paved the way for the modern NBA stars.

In today’s NBA, different hairstyles and colors are commonplace, with several young stars trying something different in order to stand out from the rest of the league. Players like Russell Westbrook and Kyle Kuzma are often mixing things up and changing their looks.

But thanks to some of the players mentioned in the post, being bald in the NBA actually became a fashionable look. Many players in the NBA today, while not going completely bald, choose to go for a low-cut fade that is as close to bald as possible.
