After ranking our 25 best point guards for the 2023-24 season earlier this week, we have returned to do the same with shooting guards. Below, our rankings will be based on what each of these 25 shooting guards did during the 2022-23 season and our predictions for 2023-24. Stats, accolades, and overall impact on team success, as always, will be the main deciding factors upon which we decide where to place each player. Of course, not everyone will agree with our list, but everyone will agree that the 25 players here today are undoubtedly the 25 best in the game today at the shooting guard position.

These are the 25 best NBA shooting guards for the 2023-24 season.

25. Lu Dort

Lu Dort

2022-23 Stats: 13.7 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.3 BPG

Although he is not the most offensively gifted player on our list, Lu Dort makes up for it with his defensive impact for the Oklahoma City Thunder. With his quickness, strength, and physical abilities, Dort has become one of the better isolation defenders in the game today. He has become incredibly important to the entire team defense for a Thunder team looking to build on their surprising 2022-23 run.

As has been the case for the last five seasons, Dort’s biggest issue has been his efficiency, or lack thereof, on the offensive end. In 2022-23, Dort shot just 38.8% from the field overall on nearly 12.0 shot attempts from the field. He also shot 33.0% from three on 5.5 attempts and was a net negative for Oklahoma City on that side of the ball. Even the slightest improvement as a scorer will make Dort an even bigger part of Oklahoma City’s future success.

24. Norm Powell

Norman Powell

2022-23 Stats: 17.0 PPG, 2.9 RPG, 1.8 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.3 BPG

Norm Powell has sneakily become one of the better offensive bench weapons in the entire NBA. Powell is a great outside shooter and scorer from all three levels, with his ability to slash and score with authority at the basket. Over the last two seasons, Powell has shot 40.7% from three, which is a department the Clippers will continue to need help in for the 2023-24 season.

Depending on the health of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, Powell could either see more time as a starter in 2023-24, or he will be a great asset off the bench and possibly a midseason trade candidate. The Clippers may hang onto him if injuries once again begin to unravel their season. His defensive struggles will be the biggest issue Powell has heading into 2023-24 and he will definitely need to improve his game from the mid-range to be considered a true offensive threat for Los Angeles this year.

23. Kevin Huerter

Kevin Huerter

2022-23 Stats: 15.2 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 2.9 APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.3 BPG

Other than a forgettable performance in the NBA’s three-point shooting contest last season, Kevin Huerter has the best season of his career in 2022-23. Huerter averaged a career-high 15.2 points per game on 48.5% shooting overall and a career-high 40.2% shooting from three on 6.8 attempts. Huerter’s scoring as a third option offered a big push for a Kings team that advanced to the NBA playoffs for the first time in 17 years.

At 6’7’’, Huerter’s high release as a shooter makes him a difficult matchup for most defenders. He has extremely good control of the ball when dribbling and finding his spots, and can create off the dribble with ease. Huerter is also a double-edged sword with his ability to move off the ball and knock down shots as a spot-up shooter.

In 2023-24, the Kings will rely on Huerter to at least be as effective as he was last year in order to build on their promising playoff performance that saw them take the Warriors to seven games in the first round. Huerter will find his share of opportunities working alongside two great playmakers in De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis and should be one of the more interesting players to watch this season.

22. Gary Trent Jr.

Gary Trent Jr.

2022-23 Stats: 17.4 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.6 SPG, 0.2 BPG

In today’s NBA, Gary Trent Jr. is one of the ideal shooting guards that a team would want. Trent has shot 37.4% from three over the last two-and-a-half seasons with the Raptors and has offered elite defense on a team level as well. He ranked 11th in the NBA in steals in 2022-23 with 1.6 steals per game, making him one of the better defenders from that standpoint.

Entering a contract season, the Raptors hope Trent Jr. will use that as extra motivation to bounce back from a down season in 2022-23. Although his playmaking is not elite, he can still assist teammates when he needs to. He is a great shot-creator off the dribble and can make threes at a high rate using his ability to create space with the ball in his hands. Trent Jr. will be one of the players that the Raptors need to step up their game in 2023-24 after losing Fred VanVleet in free agency.

21. Bennedict Mathurin

Bennedict Mathurin

2022-23 Stats: 16.7 PPG, 4.7 RPG, 1.5 APG, 0.6 SPG, 0.2 BPG

Coming off an incredible rookie season in 2022-23, Bennedict Mathurin is one of the reasons that many have the Indiana Pacers as a sleeper team in 2023-24. Mathurin nearly led all bench scorers last season with 16.7 points per game, shooting 43.4% from the field overall and 32.3% from three.

If it wasn’t for Paolo Banchero, Mathurin would have run away with the Rookie of the Year award last season. Mathurin has great size for a shooting guard standing 6’5’’ and weighing over 200 pounds. He is shifty and explosive as well and proved to be one of the more difficult covers for defenses to keep at bay. If Indiana is going to cash in on high expectations next year, Mathurin will have to be one of the ones to step up and improve alongside Tyrese Haliburton and company in 2023-24.

20. Terry Rozier

Terry Rozier

2022-23 Stats: 21.1 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 5.1 APG, 1.2 SPG, 0.3 BPG

Scary Terry Rozier has been one of the better offensive options from the shooting guard position over the last four seasons with the Charlotte Hornets. In 2022-23, he averaged a career-high 21.2 points per game while shooting 41.5% overall and 32.7% from three. Despite his inefficiency shooting the ball, he really improved as a playmaker and passer after the Hornets lost LaMelo Ball for most of the year.

Rozier’s best attribute is his athleticism which allows him to rise over defenders on his jumper and finish more efficiently at the rim. His speed is also a weapon he will need to utilize more, with the potential to become one of the better fastbreak options in the entire league. Rozier and the Hornets need to bounce back after missing the playoffs in 2022-23. What better year to do it than 2023-24, when nobody expects them to make any noise?

19. Jordan Clarkson

Jordan Clarkson

2022-23 Stats: 20.8 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 4.4 APG, 0.5 SPG, 0.2 BPG

Jordan Clarkson has a career-best season in 2022-23, seeing more time as a starter than he had since 2015-16 with the Los Angeles Lakers. For the Jazz, Clarkson was a big reason why so many are excited about the future of Utah. He averaged a career-high 20.2 points per game while shooting 44.4% from the field overall and 33.8% from three on 7.5 attempts.

Clarkson’s 2022-23 season can be summed up by the fact that he made the Utah Jazz better by every metric when he was on the floor. He is an unpredictable weapon for Utah on offense as well with defenders unsure of what his next move will be. He possesses a beautiful touch on his shots and has one of the better floaters in the game today.

When Clarkson gets hot, it is pointless to have the ball in anyone else’s hands, as he can take over games by himself at times. With his lack of fear when attacking the basket and ability to maneuver around defenses, Clarkson is going to be super important to Utah’s offense alongside teammates Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton.

18. Josh Giddey

Josh Giddey

2022-23 Stats: 16.6 PPG, 7.9 RPG, 6.2 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.4 BPG

Okay, we realize that Josh Giddey clearly plays more like a point guard in today’s NBA, but with the existence of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the backcourt with him, his position as a shooting guard makes him truly unique. Giddey is a true do-it-all player who can score, rebound, and make plays with the best of them in the NBA, and he is only getting better heading into his third season with the Thunder

He was far more efficient in his second season in 2022-23, shooting 48.2% from the field last season after only 41.9% in his rookie campaign. Giddey has a ton of weapons to use at his disposal for the upcoming season, which will certainly elevate his status as a combo guard. With Chet Holmgren set to make his debut and Gilgeous-Alexander becoming a superstar, this will also give Giddey even more opportunity to make an impact as a scorer as the season wears on.

Giddey is obviously a major part of the future plans in Oklahoma City, as they have expectations that far exceed what any outside analyst can place on them. Going into just his third season, I expect him to make a major push for Most Improved Player next year and his team to push for a playoff spot outright rather than just a spot in the play-in games.

17. Jordan Poole

Andre Iguodala Warns Jordan Poole He Needs To Grown Up Now And That The Wizards Are Not Same As The Warriors

2022-23 Stats: 20.4 PPG, 2.7 RPG, 4.5 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.3 BPG

Jordan Poole is the first player on our list who has a new home in 2023-24 after being acquired by the Washington Wizards this past offseason. The 2022-23 season was difficult for Poole as it started with teammate Draymond Green punching him in the face in practice before it even got started. After a great season that saw him average over 20.4 points per game, Poole struggled in the playoffs, which ended in an early exit for Golden State.

Now, with the Wizards, Poole is looking forward to making a name for himself in a new city. We already know that he can be a great second or third option on a championship team after his incredible performance in the 2022 NBA playoffs. With the departure of Bradley Beal to Phoenix, Poole could have free reign to become a clear-cut first option with Washington in 2023-24. His ability to score at all three levels and willingness to include his teammates in the action will be a boost for a Washington team with little expectations.

16. Anfernee Simons

Anfernee Simons

2022-23 Stats: 21.1 PPG, 2.6 RPG, 4.1 APG, 0.7 SPG, 0.2 BPG

Although his defensive abilities and rebounding are lacking a bit, Anfernee Simons is nearly a top-15 shooting guard in the NBA. With the impending departure of Damian Lillard, Simons has a unique opportunity to make Portland his team moving forward.

On offense, Simons is an explosive scorer with bounce that makes his total package that much more intriguing. He is adept at making tough shots with defenders draped all over him, as well as soft touch from the mid-range and great finishing at the rim. Simons’ best weapon is his quick release on his shot and conversion rate on those attempts. He shot 44.7% from the field last season, which should go up with more opportunities coming his way in 2023-24.

Simons and newly drafted rookie Scoot Henderson could possibly become the most electric backcourt in the NBA next season if they remain healthy enough to accumulate the time necessary to do so. His deficiencies on defense make him somewhat of a liability on that end, but he can make up for it with his explosive offensive game.

15. OG Anunoby

OG Anunoby

2022-23 Stats: 16.8 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 2.0 APG, 1.9 SPG, 0.7 BPG

OG Anunoby may be listed as a small forward by some, but in a loaded Toronto Raptors lineup, he will get a lot of time at shooting guard as well. This speaks to Anunoby’s versatility on the court, which is heavily reliant on his ability as a defender. In 2022-23, Anunoby took home the NBA’s steals title with 1.9 steals per game while taking on the opponent’s best player every single night.

Anunoby also had a decent season as a scorer and playmaker, with 16.8 points per game on 47.6% shooting overall and 38.7% shooting from three. For a Raptors team that lost so much and is hanging on by a thread to avoid a rebuild, they really need him to step up even more on that end of the ball. Toronto will be looking to replace a ton of production from the guard spots, which they hope moving Anunoby over to shooting guard will help cover. Can they get back to the playoffs in 2023-24, or will the rebuild come to fruition and see Anunoby in another uniform by season’s end?

14. Jalen Green

Jalen Green

2022-23 Stats: 22.1 PPG, 3.7 RPG, 3.7 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.2 BPG

After a rough start to his career as a rookie, Jalen Green showed out and improved across the board in 2022-23. He averaged 22.1 points per game on 41.6% shooting overall and 33.8% from three but was much more efficient as a ball-handler and wasn’t where possessions went to die as much in 2022-23.

The 2023-24 Houston Rockets will be a better situation by far than Green has had through his first two seasons in the NBA, leading to a higher ranking heading into 2023-24. Head Coach Ime Udoka will likely bring the best out of him on the court, as will the addition of veterans like Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks. This will likely lead to the most impactful play of his career and a huge step up in production. If that is the case, Green can easily become one of the top scorers in the NBA in 2023-24, especially if his efficiency improves from his first two years.

13. Austin Reaves

Austin Reaves Lakers

2022-23 Stats: 13.0 PPG, 3.0 RPG, 3.4 APG, 0.5 SPG, 0.3 BPG

You cannot point at a single shooting guard who has had a better previous six months than Austin Reaves. The third-year shooting guard was able to re-sign with the Lakers for nearly %13 million per year through 2026-27 and inked his first signature shoe deal this summer as well. He is currently doing his thing with Team USA at the FIBA World Cup as well, where his popularity can be seen by the entire world every time he hits the court.

On the court in 2022-23, Reaves enjoyed a stellar season that really took off in the NBA playoffs. Reaves upped his game as the Lakers advanced to the Western Conference Finals with 16.9 points per game on 46.4% shooting overall and 44.3% shooting from three. Reaves’ heroics were really evident in a series win over the Warriors as he proved no moment was too big for him to face.

In 2023-24, Reaves will be looked at as the third option for Los Angeles on offense behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis. His combination of IQ and ability overall as a player could lead to another deep run into the playoffs for the team. If he continues to improve at the pace he has over the last year, Reaves could crack the top 10 of this list by the time we release our 2024-25 rankings next year.

12. Dejounte Murray

Watch: Dejounte Murray Bumps Referee After Game 4 Loss Against The Celtics

2022-23 Stats: 20.5 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 6.1 APG, 1.5 SPG, 0.3 BPG

Dejounte Murray spent the 2022-23 season in a new home with the Atlanta Hawks, where he and teammate Trae Young have the potential to be one of the top backcourt duos in the NBA. After spending six seasons with the Spurs, Murray came over to Atlanta with a ton of expectations on his shoulders. Although Atlanta didn’t make it as far as they’d hoped, Murray showed why Atlanta was so dead set on landing him last offseason.

Murray is an elite two-way guard who can score 20 points on any given night while playing incredible on and off-ball defense. He has averaged at least 1.5 steals per game over the last four seasons while also developing into a consistent offensive threat. With his defensive abilities able to mask some of Young’s shortcomings on that end, Hawks coach Quin Snyder has a unique chance to make this team revolve around his backcourt. Murray will look to push the offense a little more this season, as well as the Hawks desperately try and get past the first round of the playoffs again.

11. Tyler Herro

Udonis Haslem Praises Tyler Herro's Time With The Heat Amidst Trade Rumors

2022-23 Stats: 20.1 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 4.2 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.2 BPG

As the Damian Lillard saga still unfolds, we have no idea where Tyler Herro will be suiting up in 2023-24. What we do know is that whatever team he lands on is getting a good scorer and leader from the shooting guard position who will impact winning in a positive manner just as he has in Miami over the last three years.

His confidence and ability to hit clutch shots are the best attributes that Herro has going for him moving forward, wherever that may be. He can catch fire at any given moment and can easily become an elite outside shooter if trusted by his teammates. His defense can use a little work, but he makes up for it with his effort and leadership.

Wherever Herro goes in a potential Damian Lillard deal, he will immediately become one of his new team’s best offensive weapons, even if that means going back to the bench where he won the 2022 Sixth Man of the Year award. As a 37.4% three-point shooter and a 20.0 points-per-game scorer, Herro is one of the 11 best shooting guards in the NBA, and it isn’t all that close.

10. Tyrese Maxey

Tyrese Maxey

2022-23 Stats: 20.3 PPG, 2.9 RPG, 3.5 APG, 0.8 SPG, 0.1 BPG

Whether he is filling in for absent teammates at point guard or playing alongside them at shooting guard, Tyrese Maxey’s ability to adapt to any situation with the 76ers over the last three years has been incredible to watch. The 2022-23 season was a coming-out party for Maxey as he averaged a career-high 20.3 points per game while shooting 48.1% overall and a scintillating 43.4% from three.

Maxey displays elite quickness, handles, and three-level scoring among shooting guards in the NBA currently, making him a prime candidate for a massive extension next offseason. He is certainly a future All-Star by any standard. If James Harden does not return in 2023-24, it could boost Maxey’s play and production even more, which is a scary thought for opponents of the 76ers heading into next season.

9. Desmond Bane

Desmond Bane

2022-23 Stats: 21.5 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 4.4 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.4 BPG

To put things as simply as possible, the Memphis Grizzlies are a much better basketball team with Desmond Bane on the court. Bane is among the best three-point shooters in the game, shooting over 40.0% from three in all three seasons of his career so far, including 40.8% on 7.0 attempts in 2022-23.

It’s not just his shooting that has made Memphis a better unit, but his playmaking and defensive abilities as well. Bane has improved his rebounding and assist numbers every season he has been in Memphis and is steadily approaching All-Star territory if that trend continues in 2023-24.

Next season will be his most important since arriving in 2020-21, as they will be without star point guard Ja Morant for the first 25 games of the season. In Morant’s absence, I expect Bane to be Memphis’ number-one or number-two option for the better part of the entire season. Bane could be the reason why Memphis advances further than they have over the last two seasons if he can keep the team afloat in Morant’s absence.

8. Mikal Bridges

Mikal Bridges

2022-23 Stats: 20.1 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 3.3 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.6 BPG

I can just hear the fans screaming out right now that Mikal Bridges is a small forward. However, that may have been the case while he was in Phoenix, but once he got to Brooklyn, his position, and his game completely changed.

Bridges spent the first half of the season as a member of the Phoenix Suns where he had been for the first four-plus seasons of his career. Playing alongside Chris Paul, Deandre Ayton, and Devin Booker hindered his offensive production, which would skyrocket with the Nets after being traded there for Kevin Durant. In 27 games with the Nets, Bridges averaged 26.1 points per game on 47.5% shooting from the floor which was easily the best offensive stretch of his career.

His offensive output in a new situation along with his already elite defensive play has moved Bridges into the top 10 at the shooting guard position for the 2023-24 season. Bridges will undoubtedly be the leader for Brooklyn on the court as their go-to guy in any situation. It will be interesting to see if his torrid pace from 2022-23 can be continued as he furthers his career in Brooklyn in 2023-24.

7. Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson Warriors

2022-23 Stats: 21.9 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 2.4 APG, 0.7 SPG, 0.4 BPG

I know it’s hard to imagine that Klay Thompson is no longer a top-five shooting guard in the NBA, but that is just where we are at this point in his career. Once an automatic shooter from three has turned a lot more streaky, especially in the NBA playoffs.

That being said, the four-time NBA champion is still an elite offensive weapon from beyond the arc after a comeback season that saw him shoot 41.2% from three on 10.6 attempts. Although that would drop in the playoffs, the Warriors likely do not make it that far without him. Thompson is no longer the defensive stopper he was in his younger years which takes a notch off his belt and sends him outside the top-five for the first time in his career.

Klay will have maybe a more important role than ever before for Golden State in 2023-24, with Jordan Poole headed elsewhere and the Warriors with an underwhelming offensive attack outside of him and Stephen Curry. If any player is resilient from these Warriors, it is Thompson who has already shown us he can silence the naysayers in exciting fashion.

6. Zach LaVine

Zach LaVine

2022-23 Stats: 24.8 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 4.2 APG, 0.9 SPG, 0.2 BPG

Although he was not his usual All-Star self in 2022-23, Zach LaVine still finds himself amongst the best shooting guards in the NBA. As an explosive three-level scorer and playmaker, LaVine is one of the best scorers at his position just as he has been for quite some time. He averaged 24.8 points per game on 48.5% shooting overall in 2022-23 and looks to help get the Bulls back into playoff contention in 2023-24.

Despite media reports of rifts between him, his teammates, and the entire Bulls organization, LaVine went out there and did his job at an elite level. He has remained a top player at his position due to his part as one of the better transition players in the NBA today. If LaVine is traded, he will be a part of something big for whatever team he lands on. If he remains in Chicago, he will need to step up and take over as a true leader for a team desperately searching for someone to take on that role.

5. Jaylen Brown

Jaylen Brown Takes Accountability For Celtics Elimination: "We Failed. I Failed."

2022-23 Stats: 26.6 PPG, 6.9 RPG, 3.5 APG, 1.1 SPG, 0.4 BPG

After signing the biggest contract in NBA history this offseason, the pressure continues for Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics to deliver on the NBA championship they have been chasing for quite some time. Brown has been one of Boston’s best players and at times, their best player for long stretches.

In 2022-23, Brown averaged a career-high 26.6 points per game while shooting 49.1% from the field, another career-high for him. He has developed into a massively impactful team defender as well and will be Boston’s toughest perimeter defender in 2023-24 after the departure of Marcus Smart.

This upcoming season, Brown will need to make better decisions and limit turnovers in big moments for his team. These small tweaks could be the difference between another Conference Finals loss and an NBA championship for the Celtics. Brown will look to prove those wrong that said he didn’t deserve the massive $304 million supermax deal he got this summer.

4. Paul George

Paul George

2022-23 Stats: 23.8 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 5.1 APG, 1.5 SPG, 0.4 BPG

Regardless of injuries and what fans have to say about it, Paul George is still easily a top-five shooting guard in the NBA. He is massively talented when it comes to scoring at all three levels of offense, especially when it comes to attacking the rim and shooting from the mid-range. George needs to remain healthy if the Clippers hope to have a chance at getting back to the Conference Finals as they did in 2021 when he led them there.

George and teammate Kawhi Leonard are both in the same boat when it comes to their health as Clippers fans are growing tired of the same old excuses every season. When healthy, there is no doubt that George can be a top-10 player in the NBA at times with his elite two-way play. He is one of the NBA’s best on-ball defenders as well, using his length and athleticism to completely baffle opponents.

If he is on the court for more than 65 games this season, I expect him to be back in All-Star and All-NBA form with the Clippers fighting for a top spot in the Western Conference.

3. Donovan Mitchell

Donovan Mitchell

2022-23 Stats: 28.3 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 4.4 APG, 1.5 SPG, 0.4 BPG

In his first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell was not just a top shooting guard in the NBA but a top overall player in the NBA as well. Mitchell was explosive as a scorer in 2022-23, averaging a career-high 28.3 points per game on a career-best 48.4% shooting overall and 38.6% shooting from three.

His 2022-23 season included a season-high 71-point game earlier in the season and a trip to the NBA playoffs for the Cavaliers. He even stepped up his game on the defensive end, averaging 1.5 steals per game, which was yet another career-high for him. Alongside backcourt partner Darius Garland, Mitchell and the Cavaliers became a formidable Eastern Conference contender until they were shut down in the first round of the playoffs by the New York Knicks.

If Mitchell plays at the same level next season, the Cavaliers can get even better with the continued development of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Will Mitchell lead the Cavaliers to their best finish since LeBron James left the team in 2018?

2. Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards

2022-23 Stats: 24.6 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 4.4 APG, 1.6 SPG, 0.7 BPG

If there is any player ready for a monumental leap in 20223-24, it is Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Slowly but surely in 2022-23, Edwards started to take on the team as his own and led them to another playoff spot for the second consecutive season. As a two-way player, there are few at the shooting guard spot who do it better than him with the personality and charisma that you cannot help but gravitate to.

Edwards has begun to develop a complete offensive game heading into just his fourth season in the NBA, which has been on full display this summer for Team USA in the FIBA World Cup. With his increasingly improving defense, he is steadily making his way toward being a top 15 player overall in the league.

In 2023-24, I would like to see Anthony Edwards throw all the extra stuff to the side and convincingly take the reins of the Minnesota Timberwolves franchise all for himself. I think it is time and that he is ready to do so as he matures and continues to get better as an all-around player. I also believe that it will make the Timberwolves a better team if they allow that to happen and can advance past the first round of the playoffs.

1. Devin Booker

2022-23 Stats: 27.8 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 5.5 APG, 1.0 SPG, 0.3 BPG

As far as the top shooting guard in the NBA, it is without a shadow of a doubt Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns. Despite playing just 53 games in 2022-23, Booker proved just how elite he was each and every time that he stepped on the court. As good as he was in the regular season, Booker showed just how dangerous this Suns lineup could be in the playoffs, showing us all what we have to look forward to in 2023-24.

In 11 playoff games last season, Booker would average 33.7 points per game on a ridiculous 58.5% shooting overall and 50.8% shooting from three. Playing alongside Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal in 2023-24 can only make things even more difficult for opponents as he will see his fair share of isolation defenses and open scoring opportunities.

Booker will also likely split time at point guard with Bradley Beal, a position we already know he can play as an above-average playmaker for his position. There is no doubt in my mind that another healthy season like he had last year will lead to All-Star and All-NBA selections for him in a rather convincing fashion. As the best shooting guard in the NBA, expectations will be astronomically high for the Suns next season, who should settle for no less than an NBA championship.
