Former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal is supremely confident that his superteam would beat some of the legends in the sport.

The big man posted an image of himself in his Lakers jersey along with nine of the most iconic players in the NBA. His superteam had LeBron James, Allen Iverson, Kevin Durant, and Michael Jordan.

And his opposition had sharpshooter Stephen Curry, Kobe Bryant, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Magic Johnson. On his part, O’Neal was more than optimistic that his side was better than the other star-studded unit.

y’all kno who i’m with. four games to one yes is said it. gimme your thoughts

Earlier, the former Laker was one of the players in a Team Jordan vs. Team James clash and ironically, Bryant was on the other side.

NBA Fans React To Shaquille O’Neal’s Superteam

Safe to say, Lakers fans were happy that there were five Purple and Gold players across both teams. Most of them were in agreement that the center’s team would win, given they also had Jordan in their ranks.

Earlier, O’Neal found a place in Steve Kerr’s starting five, which also included Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Tim Duncan in the mix. Moving on to the reactions:

Whatever side wins, I just LOVE the fact that there are 5 LAKERS on the court.

Im always with Jordan. It could be Jordan & 4 dudes from 7/11. Ill be like “the Jordan team”

Lebron Jordan and Shaq come on now

Lebron and MJ on the same team . The team on the right. Prime shaq is better than prime Kareem with all due respect. I said what I said

They got Kobe on the wrong side

All I want to know is who is stopping that Skyhook from a prime Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

No question, team Shaq is going to win! Jordan and Durant!

Gotta go with the top cause who goin stop kd and jordan and shaq. Top 3 greatest scores of all time, at the same time tho who goin curry karreem and kobe? This tuff.

This is a Tough matchup man. I like it. It does depend on chemistry and clock control. MJ did not school a Larry Bird until 1990. “New Sheriff in town” Shaq 7 years in was hard to handle for Kareem but you got to stop that Sky Hook. Everyone of these guys on this pick could go off and bring a win. Best of 7 series 4-3 MJ and Shaq’s team.

Sweep. Diesel side all day

In a way, this is one such contest where just watching these legends ball out is so much more exciting than actually rooting for a winner. Whether or not O’Neal’s team can win this, his confidence deserves a shoutout.
