No one would kick up a fuss if you were to say Miami Heat legend Dwayne Wade isn't the Flash of old when he was an MVP candidate and winning Finals MVP's with Shaquille O'Neal on his roster.
But that doesn't mean Father Prime doesn't save a bit of fuel in the tank come playoff time to remind us all of how things used to be in Miami.
Down 1-0 in their first-round playoff series against the surging Philadelphia 76ers -- who were on a combined 17-game win streak mind you, dating back to the regular season -- Wade turned back the clock in a big way, leading the Heat to their first playoff win of the season, away from home as well.
Wade poured in 28 points off the bench, 21 of them coming in the first half alone. It was as if Wade had never left Miami for Chicago and Cleveland in the first place.
Wade was asked what the catalyst was for his throwback performance after the game, and had Philly fan and comedian Kevin Hart to thank for it, who spent the entirety of the game on the sidelines screaming at Wade all night long.
If you happen to travel to Miami to watch games three and four Kevin, it may be best to keep your mouth shut if you want the 76ers to advance past the first round.
